Summary
Liverpool survived a scare at Anfield to progress to the Champions League quarter finals, following a 2-1 aggregate win over Inter Milan.
Lautaro Martinez cracked in the only goal of the night from range, just two minutes before Alexis Sanchez saw red, ultimately ending his side's chances of completing the comeback.
Liverpool were well off the pace for much of the game, however still created chances, with Mohamed Salah hitting both posts in a rare off night for him.
However, the hosts managed the game well after gaining the man advantage, limiting Inter's time on the ball and doing enough to advance.
The Reds join Bayern Munich as the first two sides in the next round, with the remaining six ties to commence over the next eight days.

Klopp: "We didn't come here to lose a home game"
Speaking to BT Sport, Jurgen Klopp was full of criticism for his side. He said:
"Without playing brilliant, we had a lot of clear cut chances.
"We lost a lot of simple balls which is unlike us. It was like slapstick in moments.
"We were around challenges but not in them.
"It's good we don't play them every week. They are warriors and fighters.
"We are through and that is the main target.
Liverpool and Bayern through
While Liverpool found it far from easy tonight, Bayern Munich joined them in the hat with an 8-2 aggregate win, winning 7-1 at home tonight.
After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, the German champions reminded everyone of their class tonight.
Salah: "The most important thing is to qualify"
Speaking to BT Sport, Mohamed Salah said:
"Maybe in the back of our mind we were overconfident.
"I hit the post twice. It's okay, maybe next game I can score three.
"We're gonna fight for this and the Premier League. Let's see."
Sanchez red the turning point
With 28 minutes to go, Lautaro Martinez single handedly pulled his side back into the tie with a thunderous effort from range.
However, just two minutes later, Alexis Sanchez saw red and instantly the tie was out of their reach again.
The second yellow is questionable, but the first was an extremely poor challenge which may another day have warranted a red on it's own.
It feels like a real missed opportunity for the Italian champions,
Liverpool survive!
A fantastic effort from the Inter Milan players who remained on the pitch, but it's Liverpool who progress in the Champions League.
A rare defeat at Anfield, a first for Virgil Van Dijk, will become academic, as the Reds hold on following a 1-0 defeat.
